Paradise Offers Inground and Aboveground Pool openings. Starting as early as April 1st and running throughout the summer, please call the store or email us to schedule an appointment.
Above Ground Pool Opening Procedure:
You will:
- Make sure there you have your cover pumped off, and free of leaves.
- Leave your supplies out- (ladder, returns, etc.)
- Bring your water to the middle of the skimmer if possible (For those only WITHOUT an Aquador)
- Allow access to water and power
We will:
- Take off your cover, Power wash it and fold it nicely in supplied container or bag.
- It is recommended it goes in a sealed container to protect from rodents nesting.
- Take out plugs and insert returns
- Put in your ladder
- Hook up your equipment
- Start your filter making sure it runs properly with no leaks
Inground Pool Opening Procedure:
You will:
- Make sure there you have your cover pumped off (Solid Cover only)
- Leave your supplies out- (ladder, returns, etc.)
- Bring your water to the middle of the skimmer if possible (For those with a mesh cover)
- Allow access to water and power
We will:
- Take off your cover, Power wash it and fold it nicely in supplied container or bag.
- It is recommended it goes in a sealed container to protect from rodents nesting.
- Take out plugs and insert returns
- Put in your ladder
- Start your filter making sure it runs properly with no leaks
- Check heater and light is in working order if applicable
We do not add chemicals when opening your pool. You pool should circulate for 24 hours, then brought into our store for a free water test. You should always test the water to assure no metals have went into the pool over the winter.
